Digital X-rays
Using the most advanced dental technology possible is just as important as staying up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques. Because our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available, we utilize advanced digital X-ray technology in our office.
Digital X-rays provide several advanced imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental photos, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology.
Our practice is focused on making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. At your next appointment, we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about our digital X-ray technology.
Intraoral Camera
You know the importance of prevention when it comes to your dental health, and we’re always looking for new, improved ways to help you achieve a healthy smile for life. While X-rays provide valuable information, they don’t give a complete view of everything that is going on inside your mouth. With the use of an intraoral camera, we can see every aspect of your teeth and mouth with incredible detail, uncovering cracked teeth, plaque deposits, cavities next to fillings, and excessive wear. When we can discover oral problems early on, your treatment is much less invasive and much more cost effective.
Our intraoral camera is small, about the size of the mirror we use during your regular hygiene appointments. You probably wouldn’t even notice we’re using it, except that with the intraoral camera, you have the opportunity to see everything we see on a monitor. This is a great tool to help you become more informed about your dental health, as it gives you a clear understanding of your teeth’s condition, and it allows you to make a more informed decision regarding your treatment options.

SprintRay 3D Printing

In-house aligners created just for you.
Clear aligner treatment takes the metal out of orthodontics, giving you an aesthetic treatment option that produces fantastic results. Often with this type of treatment, aligners are created offsite and shipped to our office, where we then distribute them to you. Using our own 3D printing capabilities we are able to cut out the middleman to create your aligners right here in our office, enabling you to begin treatment sooner and saving you a considerable amount of time waiting for new aligners during your treatment.
To begin your clear aligner treatment, we will generate digital models of your mouth and upload the data into our treatment planning software. From there, we will formulate a treatment plan, addressing the specific movement of each tooth to attend to your smile and bite issues. Once your treatment plan is complete, we print your first set of aligners and begin your smile transformation.
Aligners created with our SprintRay 3D printer are made of the same material as traditional aligners, making them just as strong, clear, and effective as their more time-consuming and expensive counterparts. Plus, if your treatment plan ever needs to be adjusted, or if you misplace one of your aligners, we can simply re-print a new set of aligners.
CEREC®
CEREC is a technology for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to the doctor's office. It makes your teeth stronger and more beautiful, all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free, and the high-grade ceramic material is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.
The CEREC Process
During your appointment, you and your doctor will discuss the details of the procedure and your doctor will answer any questions you may have. Your doctor will then use a special 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using CEREC's proprietary software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's appropriate form and function. Then, CEREC will use diamond burs to create your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.
Digital Impressions
No more goop, gagging, or discomfort. Using the latest in digital technology, your dentist can take a highly accurate digital impression of your teeth. The new technology ensures a more accurate impression from the start, resulting in improved treatment and a more comfortable patient experience. Digital impressions give you the ability to see your teeth instantly in 3D, improving communication during the consultation and treatment process.
Our digital impression scanner captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. The scanner is a compact, hand-held wand. Once your dentist begins the scanning process, it can be stopped and started as many times as necessary.
We scan your mouth by taking several radiation-free photos which create a digital model of your teeth. Through digital software, you'll then be able to follow the progress of the scans including a three-dimensional model of your teeth on our computer screen. Digital impressions can be used for any restorative treatment including crowns, veneers, inlays/onlays, bridges, implants, and orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign®.
NightLase®
NightLase is a non-invasive laser treatment designed to reduce snoring and improve sleep quality by tightening tissues in the throat, expanding the airway, and reducing the severity of sleep apnea.
Laser therapy for snoring is typically performed at our dental office and does not require general anesthesia. You will be given a local anesthetic to numb the back of the throat, and then the laser is applied to the target tissue. The entire procedure usually takes about 30 minutes.
The effectiveness of laser therapy for snoring varies from person to person, and some individuals may require multiple treatments to achieve the desired results. However, laser therapy is generally considered a safe and effective option for individuals who snore due to excess tissue in the throat.
